Monumento a la Cosecha
Harvest Monument
- Operational
Description
The Harvest Monument is a set of beautiful sculptures that welcome those who cross the pedestrian tunnel after parking their vehicle in our official parking lot, to connect with the main entrance of the park.
This beautiful work was created by master sculptor Héctor Lombana and inaugurated in 1995, and pays homage to one of the pillars and philosophy of our organization, as it highlights the importance and prominence of the more than 540,000 coffee-growing families in our country, those who live along almost 3,000 kilometers, from the extreme south to the extreme north of Colombia.
In this monument you will be able to identify characters and typical elements of our coffee culture, such as the chapolera, the muleteer, the coffee picker, the guitar, the tiple, and the sacks of the best coffee in the world on the back of a mule.
